Adidas has ingeniously brought an internet-favorite meme to life with their latest creation – The Simpsons x adidas Stan Smith. Drawing inspiration from the iconic scene in The Simpsons Season 5, Episode 16, where Homer slowly backs into a bush, the brand has recreated this legendary moment on the classic Stan Smith silhouette.
The shoe boasts a pristine “White” leather construction, paying homage to the timeless tennis sneaker that has been beloved for almost six decades. On the lateral and medial side panels, you’ll find the signature Three Stripe perforations, alongside Homer’s name debossed in gold foil.
The tongue features a portrait of the beloved Pieman, while the heel is fashioned with forest green fleece, cleverly resembling a bush, with Homie’s blank facial expression in the center, as he disappears into his surroundings.

To honor the Stan Smith’s heritage design, the sneaker is completed with a creamy midsole underfoot. Almost a year since its first sighting, The Simpsons x adidas Stan Smith Homer Simpson is set to hit stores on August 18, 2023, available through adidas and select retailers online and in-store, in men’s sizing, with the retail price yet to be announced.
