Nike has teamed up once again with pop sensation Billie Eilish to release a new colorway of their popular Air Force 1 Low silhouette. Following the success of the “Mushroom” and “Black” iterations, the new release is an all-white version of the shoe.
What sets this collaboration apart is the use of recycled textiles in the construction of the shoe’s patchwork upper. Quilted nylon forms the base, while leather cutouts and ripstop nylon wrap guards add depth to the design. Exposed stitching accents the signature lines of the Air Force 1, completing the fragmented look.
Eilish’s Blohsh insignia appears on the tongues and lace dubraes, adding a personal touch to the design. The pineapple fiber insoles are decorated with collaborative branding, while classic sole units provide a familiar finish to the shoe.
The Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 Low “White” was expected to be released on March 23 for $140 USD through Nike and select retailers. Though an official release date has not been confirmed, sneakerheads can stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
