The NOCTA Glide in “Black/White” features reflective 3M detailing and familiar NOCTA branding at the tongue. The “Black/White” pair features a black mesh upper with a two-tone weave resting below it, and an icy translucent outsole.
Release details regarding the NOCTA Glide in “Black/White” have been all over the place, to say the least. Though previously anticipated to drop much earlier in the season, it now appears that the silhouette will be making its debut on September 15th. Barring any additional delays, we’re confident that we’ll be seeing Drake’s newest sneaker on said date.
Fans of early era basketball kicks should feel right at home with the Nike NOCTA Glide, as its design draws direct inspiration from the Zoom Flight 95. The resemblance is most evident in the collaborative model’s sole unit, as it essentially recreates the carbon fiber bulbs central to Jason Kidd’s shoe of choice. The connection to said classic is only deepened by way of the “Black/White” colorway, whose look is practically identical to a previous appearance from the aforementioned signature.
