Japanese label TIGHTBOOTH is set to drop its highly anticipated collaborative Nike SB Dunk Low this month, and to celebrate, they’ve announced a special launch party in Tokyo. This exciting event will take place on November 10 in the vast parking lot of the National Stadium. Admission is free and includes complimentary drinks and pizza, as well as an opportunity to skate and participate in a trick contest.
Shinpei Ueno, widely regarded as one of the greatest pro skaters, sent sneaker enthusiasts into a frenzy last July with an Instagram teaser for the Tightbooth x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Black.’ The highly anticipated collaboration is now officially confirmed.
Marking Tightbooth’s debut in the skate silhouette domain, the SB Dunk takes shape with a sleek black suede foundation, adorned with white leather panels reminiscent of the metal grates found on city streets. The tongue sports a plush mesh fabric embellished with a pattern of dots and a prominent Nike SB tag. Notable logos grace the heel, where the traditional “Nike” lettering is creatively replaced with a cut-out design, revealing a textured metallic inner lining.

Beneath, the midsole incorporates Zoom Air technology for enhanced comfort and responsiveness. To leave no doubt about the collaboration, vibrant orange Tightbooth branding adorns the Swoosh and insoles.
Despite its relatively short four-year existence, Tightbooth, the independent streetwear label, has forged high-profile collaborations with industry giants, including Fragment Design and Converse. The momentum behind this Ueno-led brand is on a rapid ascent, and the anticipation for its Nike partnership promises to further accelerate its trajectory.
The Tightbooth x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Black’ is scheduled for a release on November 14, with a price tag of $135 USD available at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers worldwide. In keeping with the SB Dunk tradition, these are likely to fly off the shelves.
